
Michael Charles Parker, 71, of Lizton, went to be with the Lord on March 11, 2017. He was born on February 21, 1946 in Indianapolis to Mora and Issabell Parker. He graduated from George Washington High School in 1965. Mike served his country in the US Army, having served in Vietnam.
He retired from Praxair in Speedway. Mike loved to exercise, take walks, and watch tv. He loved to spend time with his family.
Mike is survived by his wife of 50 years, Flora; his children, Michael S. Parker and Kristina (Jeff) VanHook; grandchildren, Cassidy and Samuel Parker; sisters, Jeanie Gutierrez, Laura Parker, and Tina Mendenhall; and many other family members and friends. He was preceded in death by his grandson, Jackson VanHook; sister, Diana Patton; and brothers, Frank Parker and Mora D. Parker, Jr.
